Singjay Ras Bogle is currently riding high with his latest single, Money We Want, which has been earning him increased popularity in the dancehall industry since its recent release.
"The people dem a work with the song, the fans love my delivery and the lyrics, and the song is on a hot rhythm, the Machine rhythm, so it ah happen," said Rasta Bogle.
Born Hemrick Troy Bogle, the entertainer is well known along the east coast of the United States of America and he has been able to build his reputation in Jamaica one stage show at a time. He is also eyeing a spot on this year's Sting concert as well.
The singjay, who said he started his musical journey some four years ago, added that he has spent time abroad honing his craft and is now ready to make himself a household name in Jamaica.
His first musical effort was a song titled She A Bawl, which was recorded in Philadelphia for Top Class studio. However, the song was never released to the public.
"The song was not released, but that was where it all started musically. Looking back, it was a very important decision that I had made at that time," he said.

 

 

 

Three years later, and with 13 songs to his credit, he has continued to live with the belief that there is a lot more for him to accomplish musically.
Other singles done by Ras Bogle include Free Up Yourself, which was done with entertainer Pound Sterling from England, Live Clean, Pretty Little Yute, Stay Far, and the popular, Cry For Justice, which has been receiving heavy rotation on local radio and television stations.
Ras Bogle will be performing at the Kingston 11 Splash at the Cling Cling Oval, on November 27 alongside several dancehall heavyweights.
