Fresh Reggae/Dancehall act Tidal is anticipating the video release for his latest single Shots On The Ball Ground, the single has a smooth and positive vibe addressing issues of violence and corruption in society, and is produced by his own label Chronic Hill Records.

Born Navardo Graham, in Enfield, St Mary, Tidal relocated to Kingston at the pinnacle of his career so that he could get more opportunities. "When you live in rural areas, the chances of you making it to the main stream is limited," he told THE WEEKEND STAR.

The song, Shots On The Ball Ground he says is based on a true story of a shooting incident that took place on a football field that really touched him emotionally. "I was compelled to write a song about it because I was just so moved by the tragedy," he said.

The video for the single was shot in various locations in Kingston by Chronic Hill Productions; the video depicts the singer in a sombre mood as he tells the story of criminality, as well as the fear faced by law-abiding citizens. Tidal says he is very optimistic and believes the viewers will feel the song deeply.

The outspoken entertainer says he has a single with Gyptian called Give It To Me, "it's a nice song and can be found on YouTube." he said, Tidal also expresses ambitions of doing more producing, "currently my label Chronic Hill Records is working with artistes like Melloquence, Senita, Deepjai and Sabi G," said the young artiste.

In addition to doing his own productions, he has worked with European reggae companies such as MGI Records and Lion Heart Records.

According to Tidal the music industry lacks professionalism, and young artistes should be more serious about the music instead of just seeing it as a hustle, "be yourself and know what you are getting yourself into, and please be real, makes no sense to be singing about guns and yu neva buss a gun, yet you are promoting negativity." he said.
